** I look everyday at the beauty that surrounds us in our backyard, due to our dearest friends, and feel like I'm in a magical place thanks to their amazing talents !!

** “The Kingfisher arrived safe and sound. Thank you for such a professional packing job. I have attached a picture of the installation on our fireplace. The piece makes a beautiful addition to our home. I was also impressed that the eye hole was aligned with the mounting bracket to give screw-driver access, and also that the top mounting hole was exactly above its center of gravity so the piece hangs properly from that point. It is not only artistic but also mechanically correct.” Thanks again, ~ Herb and Cindy ~ Texas, USA
** “I got the maple sapling today. It looks fantastic, better than I was hoping for. Thanks very much! I think my wife will love it too.”
Regards, ~David Williams~
** “Just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to visit our home during your busy schedule yesterday. The demonstrations you did for us were informed and professional and we are excited and proud of "Canadian Pride" which now graces our fireplace. Marlene was so pleased upon viewing it for the first time when she returned home. We are currently exploring the best means of lighting it to best advantage and will probably come up with some sort of spotlight that will highlight it as a centre piece to capture the eye when first entering the room. We are also planning a drive to Campbell River to enjoy your gallery and to pick up a brochure. I will either frame a printed copy of your write-up or have an appropriate brass plaque made to locate conspicuously nearby. The write-ups on your website will not fit on 8 1/2 by 11 inch stationery single page and anything larger framed would be cumbersome for the purpose. So I will find a smaller alternative that will include your names and the sentiment behind the piece. At the moment the brass plaque idea pleases me. Thanks again. We wish you every success with your wonderful artwork.”

** “I just wanted to tell you how much I LOVE the dragon boat sculpture with the ribbons! I am a breast cancer survivor so this means a great deal to me. I have taken it to our boathouse to show with the other girls on my dragon boat team and they loved it. We are the Dragon Dream Team of Akron. The first and only breast cancer dragon boat team in Ohio.
We are decorating a tree this year for an auction for Children's Hospital, in Akron, Ohio. We are putting the sculpture under the tree to so that the buyer will be reminded that we donated it. We are very popular in the area as a group that makes breast cancer awareness our first goal. If the committee for the auction will allow the sculpture to be sold with the tree, I'll be back to get another. It is just beautiful! Thank You.”
~Kitty Kuhn~ Medina, Ohio, USA

** “Thanks. I got the notice from Canada Post that it was delivered today but I was not home. I'll pick it up tomorrow. I am VERY excited to see it. As I mentioned, my Dad worked on building the Arrow, and lost his job when the project was cancelled. The Dan Akroyd TV movie about the Arrow was filmed in Winnipeg, and my brother went to talk to some of the filmmakers during the shooting. My dad always told my brother that he was the young boy in the famous Arrow picture shown below. When my brother visited the set of the Arrow movie, he took his son, who looks just like my brother did at that time. When the movie was shown, in the scene which re-enacted this picture, the father called the boy "George" which is my brother's name. It was a nice tribute to our family history. Also, Bill Zuk, a Winnipeg writer who has written a book on the Arrow, also became friends with George. Anyway, that's why it was the perfect gift and I am sure my brother will be overwhelmed when he receives your art at Christmas.”
Thanks again, ~Diane Shapiro~ Winnipeg, Manitoba

** “The package arrived today. It is absolutely beautiful! I have it sitting on the mantle, and just the air movement from the wood burning fireplace makes the discs dance. Thanks so much!”
~Chris Olson~ Vancouver, BC
** “I met Sandra and Walter at a Chamber meeting. We were just finishing our logo for our new B&B and knew we wanted a striking sign for the front entrance. Although I knew they did beautiful wall art, I did not know if they would do a custom sign using our new logo. They not only welcomed the custom work, but their price was less than a wood sign (which would look like so many other B&Bs) , working with them was a breeze, and the finished product is awesome. That was the beginning of a great relationship. We also display some of their art pieces, and some of our guests have bought the pieces right off the wall or gone to visit their showroom, since the metal art is so easy to pack. One day, Sandra and Walter were just visiting and a guest needed a wedding gift for that afternoon; what a perfect solution--the guest was thrilled, and I am sure the bride and groom were pleased with such a handcrafted gift. Whether you need art or custom signage, Ablaze is a great resource for anyone near or far, and so accommodating and creative! I just wish I had more wall space....”

** “Dear Sandra, I have been intending to write to you for some time now. As you know my son is graduating from 8th grade, and his school has a tradition of leaving something behind for the school to remember their class by. Their mascot is the blue whale, which you and your husband so beautifully created. I cannot tell you how thankful we all are, it is absolutely beautiful. It will be a wonderful addition to the school and one that will last for years to come. Again thank you for your creative work and your pleasantness to work with.” Warm Regards, ~Terry~ New Orleans, Louisiana, USA
** “I commend you for the exceptional work that you are creating and wish you the best in your continued efforts.”
Sincerely, ~Shawn Graham~ Premier of New Brunswick
** “Sandra & Walter created the perfect sign for my business in the Summer of 2007. Being in the graphic design industry, I was very particular about what I wanted that was a reflection of my business and they came up with something elegant and understated to suit my outer office.” The comments from my clients have been “It’s beautiful!” or “What a nice sign” “Sandra was very easy to work with and made sure it hung properly on my wall. I would definitely do business with them again.”
~Linda Graceffo~ Sparkling Graphics & Design, Courtenay, BC
** “I was very pleased to have the opportunity to review your website and items showcased for sale. Your website is most impressive and very descriptive of your outstanding talent with metal art.”
~Ken Kowalski~, MLA - Legislative Assembly Alberta Speaker
** “Wanted to let you know that my brother "Loves" his new Steel Guitar - it was a hit, as was the little Chihuahua for my sister and Henry thinks the Wine Cellar sign is perfect but Henry's reaction was "shame to hide this away in the basement - no one is going to see it unless I invite them to the cellar".”

ABLAZE METALART CHOSEN FOR LEGACY PROJECT
Ablaze MetalArt & Design was recently commissioned by a retiring LCol of the Canadian forces to create a piece of art as a memorial presentation, to be given to the Regiment / Companies / Squadrons, in his and his Sergeant's command upon his retirement later this year.
According to the LCol, the "Canadian Pride" pieces, created by Ablaze MetalArt and displayed at Camp Mirage and the Calgary Military Museums, were the inspiration for this special request to create a piece that would honour the troops and the fallen in a manner befitting them.
With that purpose in mind, LCol and his Sergeant took their design concept to Sandra and Walter Moses, owners of Ablaze MetalArt in Courtenay, BC.
The Moses say they are honoured by the request and have taken on this emotional project with great humility – recognizing that their art will truly be a legacy to the LCol and the troops.
They say, “We love to honour the Canadian Troops who serve our country. The troops don’t have a say in where they will be sent and have no real say in the politics or policies set by our country. They are placed in situations that they have no control over, being sent to the unstable parts of this world, and hopefully they come back to their family and friends.”
Mr. Moses adds, “We are honoured to be chosen to create such a significant piece that will remind all of us, and future generations of the sacrifice that our military men and women make for us, and a special tribute to those who’ve lost their lives in the line of duty. Wow.”
