Meet the Artists

Artist Sandra and Walter Moses are the only creative forces behind Ablaze MetalArt & Design, they alone fashion each piece of art work. Sandra uses her inspiration and inherent artistic ability to bring about the beautiful, distinctive designs, upon which Walter then works his magic. Walter brings over 40 years (4 decades) of experience working with metal to completing their wonderful art work. He has combined his experience and artistic ability to the cutting and finishing of these unique hand-crafted metal art pieces.

Honouring their Native American heritage

Sandra is Coast Salish (Musqueam) heritage from the Hwilitsum band in Ladner, BC and Walter is Delaware heritage originally from the Six Nations in Southern Ontario. Authentic Native art is part of their extensive repertoire. The designs in this facet of their metal work reflect Sandra's First Nation's West Coast (Musqueam) origins: Whale, Raven and Frog among others.
